It's beautiful out, and we're loving our short fall break. Sweet Vismay came upstairs to report his bandaid removal from his latest injury, so I thought the moment called for some candy. I handed him 4 tiny pieces of chocolate to share with his brothers and a neighbor friend. His entire face lit up.
"Vismay's birthday?!?!?!"
I know it's only candy, but the moment left such a sting in my heart. The reminders of the years before he was ours just hit me sometimes.

Oh that brought tears to my eyes!
Oh my - - - we should always be so appreciative. I pray he will always have a thankful attitude.
I love those moments :)
I remember the first time we bought #4 shoes with her around....I had oodles before she came home ;)..... and she screamed in the store "FOR ME, mine new shoes"
Just wait until you experience Christmas with him! Good times :)
BTW- When is his birthday? We would like to be penpals :)
How the time goes by and you kind of lose sight of the big picture of where your child has come from--then something like this happens and it all comes back. Anju is still so happy and satisfied about such little things- so unlike my bio kids.
Yes, I've got a boy here who has been talking about Vismay for a couple years now---and would also love a penpal. :-)
