...Chat, laugh, shop, eat, see movies, relive college stories, fall asleep way too early like grannies...
My 3 Lee University (College back then) roomies--Rachel, Naomi, and Andrea--try to get together at least once a year, but our 11 children plus one still baking make it a challenge to coordinate schedules. We managed to pull off a trip to Gatlinburg last weekend after planning since October, and it was terrific. We NEVER run out of things to talk or laugh about, so the weekend flew by. It was hard to stay focused on girls' time, though, because our kids and husbands were dropping like flies at home. Naomi's oldest got the flu, Rachel's middle child had the stomach virus, and while not sick, Andrea's husband did threaten to sell their twins on eBay. I think Jake had it the easiest, but I'm not sure he would see it that way.
Fondue fun! (Side note: I'd love to have one of these great little gadgets. Birthday - June 10)
Who, you might ask, takes photos of themselves at the movies? Um, we do much to the annoyment (new word) of the patrons around us.
I think it was all of 9:30 pm, but being 32 and all...
Girls, I love ya. Jake, thank you so much for being super dad so I could enjoy time with my pals. Will, Edward, and Shawn--major props to you guys, too.

The fondue pot is so on my b-day list too.
The next girl's trip is scheduled for the middle of the summer -- surely no one will be sick then, right?
