Last week Jake had the opportunity to visit the Transition Home in Ethiopia where Dosen lived for 4 months. The nannies there were unbelievably warm to us when we brought him home in 2008, and our little Dosen was obviously loved. We never imagined, though, that after hundreds of children have passed through their arms, they would remember their "Wondi."

I have no words to describe her beautiful expression of love. These photos are a treasure.

love, love, love it. thanks for sharing with us too! :)
They don't forget any of them... it is impossible... trust me ...
precious.
my favorite post yet... you're gonna have to work REAL hard to beat that one.
How incredible; he must have really made an impression on them. They must get so attached to the kids and then have to give them up. I'm sure it's comforting to know they're releasing them into good homes, but they need our prayers too!
I am sitting here with nothing but tears. I mean what a treasue. One day Dosen will so appreciate seeing these. My favorite part is seeing his daddy's face- pure delight. Thank you so very much for sharing.
Love it Merica....that is so awesome!
aaaah priceless...money doesnt buy that sweet friend!
That first picture is killer. Her eyes are so big, like "Holy cow, look how big he's gotten!" And then she kisses it??!!
So precious.
Just beautiful!
Oh...my...crying. Sharing forever love for our babies' nanny mommies with you. How amazingly loving they are--forever has impacted my heart--made me a better mommy here too...
And LOOK at Daddy's expression--the delight in the family moment--
Love to you--so much love.
Blessings, Gillian
