Christmas was great! Luke really loves gifts, so it is always fun to see his reaction to things no matter how insignificant. He demonstrated true gratefulness that made our hearts so happy. Dosen isn't so interested in presents, but having him here with us this year was a tremendous gift to our entire family. He got really excited over a few things, but mostly he didn't understand why we were making such a big mess over and over again. He's a bit of a neat freak.
Oh, and we locked Dosen in the car for over an hour on Christmas Day. No, I'm not kidding. Locked up tight with the only set of keys to that vehicle in the ignition. Terrible to say the least. The police were of no help, and we learned that it is impossible to break into Jake's car... unless you break a window. While looking totally betrayed in the car, Dosen recovered within 5 minutes of his rescue.
Now for some photos:
Luke's initial reaction on Christmas morning.
It's weird enough to have trees inside our house, and now this?
If I must...
Luke in his Papa's shop where he and Honey unveiled round 2 of Christmas at their house. It took us 2 trips home from Georgia to get all the loot that Santa delivered there.
A very merry Christmas indeed. We are blessed beyond words.

Oh to be so blessed with a neat freak child! So glad he survived the car incident!....Levi wasn't much into all the presents either...the first gift he opened was a drum and that's al he needed! I so wish we could come on the 14th!....we'll be missing 3 days of school next week for a trip already. Can't wait for her to meet you!
I'm still laughing at the text message I got from you about Dosen and the locked car. I'm pretty sure that was right after it happened and it didn't seem so funny then.
