the path to recovery

Dear Korakora,
I need to come clean about my blatant affair with your nemesis... facebook. No need to sugar coat it. I resisted the overindulgence of hoisting pure personal randomness into the cybersphere for what felt like years, but like most temptations, a tiny taste got me hooked. I tried to hide it from you only to protect you. You suspected. I dodged the accusations. You woo-ed, and I fronted. But then, when neither you nor I suspected it, the camera--the one thing truly holding us together--tired of the tension and now refuses to participate. It's cruel really. I snappitty, snap away like the world is right, but when it comes time to upload the images, nothing. Eerie silence.

With this, though, I seek your forgiveness in earnest. I want you back. I need you, and if we're both honest, you need me. And to prove it, I will seek professional help from CVS photo and won't stop even if it takes me to Wolf Camera. I will win your heart again. We shall be restored not just to our former glory but beyond.

Good night my thought, rant, subliminal agenda backdrop. How I've missed thee.

Merica

And now for something that actually matters. Happy 2nd Gotcha Day, Dosen. You make every single day something to celebrate.

That was funny.... I am going to have to add you to my blog roll. I've seen you comment a couple of times on my blog, but I don't think I've been here before.

I have noticed quite an increase of participation from you in the facebook world, but I'm not complaining :)

Seems like you've made a sincere apology, there. It's hard not to be pulled over to the dark side, isn't it?

Love the pic of your precious boy---holding tight to your arm. Happy 2nd Gotcha Day!

Too funny! Hope you get your camera up and working again soon. They don't have to be mutually exclusive though, you can link KoraKora to FB and then drive FB readers back to the blog and vice versa.

Congrats on your first gotcha day of this year. Number two is soon to follow I'm sure!

Seriously, write a book. I love that you write like you talk and the scary thing, it all makes perfect sense to me.

Okay, we need to start a "Facebook Anonymous" group...I'm with you in recently coming back to my first love and leaving behind the temptation of hurling out random nothings into the cyberworld.

I'm glad I'm not alone. :D
