The big kids (as Luke and Dosen call them) spent 2 days chilling on the river and camping at the Elder's house, so we got to tag along for everything but the camping. We could've done that, too, but I'm fairly certain any cute points the boys earned during the day would've been quickly cashed in when they woke everyone up at 6 am.
I think I'm in trouble. If he looks like this now, what will 16 look like???
We had the river, the boat, and Mr. Elder all to ourselves before the kids arrived, so Luke thought he should try tubing.
Luke talked the ENTIRE time because he was so nervous. He's my cautious one, and I think he bit off a little more than he ever planned to chew.
Dosen's turn! He loved, LOVED tubing.
Dosen and Joel=BFF. Joel is a beat boxing pro, and he's willing to sing "Boom Boom Pow" as many times as Dosen requests. He can also do some mad wake boarding tricks, so he's pretty much a celeb at our house.
Smiling because he was having a blast or because he was surrounded by college girls in bathing suits? Duh.
The only thing holding this tired head up was his life vest.
Tubing for Luke - take 2. He's a studier of things, so after a day of watching everyone else do the water stuff, he decided it was worth trying again.
And he was so glad he did!
Last but not least and totally unrelated...
Peep toes with casual wear might be a bit much.

First of all, love the blog...and even more so, the pictures!! Luke is such a joy to have in class. Although, I should let you know, he's recently changed his name to "Leke". I'm not sure why but it's really funny. He also led the class in his version of a hip-hop choir today singing Black Eyed Peas and the 911 song...I really couldn't stop it...it was too spontaneous and awesome!! Talk to you soon, Mrs. Martin :)
