This guy: 2.5 weeks with new parents and one brother, and one week (almost) with a second brother. Mix together personalities, family dynamics, jet lag, new routines, and expectations. The outcome? An adjustment journey prominently featuring jealousy.
It feels like Vismay is in constant motion. He is into something, exploring, or asking "What is it?" 5,456,789 times a day. Complaining about any of these things is ridiculous, though, because he does it with the sweetest smile that leaves you smiling back.
Seating. Because we only have 2 bar stools, little man gets upgraded to the counter. Not pictured: Luke doing homework at the other end of the bar.
Lots and lots of togetherness. This time they were smiling. Sometimes they chose sides and play without ever speaking. Dosen gets the blue bath cup; Vismay's is white. N'er the two shall switch.
A before church pose.
The spontaneous one is far better.
Dosen's face sums it up well. "Mom, I had things just like I wanted them... until he showed up."
The basement is an interesting place. Luke and Dosen can rock some riding toys like a NASCAR race. Vismay is more of a Sunday driver--the kind that drives really slow and not very well.
So we celebrate the flashes of bonding
knowing they will have each other forever.

Love this.
Oh my!!-- Yumminess abounds at your house!!!!!
I was wondering how your adjustment would go when all three of them got together. Looks like things are going as well as can be expected...love the picture of Dosen frowning!
Manu will ask "what happened" about 10 thousand times a day!! And you're right, it would drive you insane if they weren't so cute.
Jonah had a tough time when Anju arrived---he was used to being the "baby"--so I would expect Dosen to have moments of "not lovin it". Looks like lotsa smiles and bonding, though. :-)
My youngest had major issues too being so close in age. This too shall pass. . . it will be your new life motto :)
I can't believe you braved church so soon. You rock!
I told your husband that I am so happy you are doing these updates. They are precious and beautiful and we are privileged to get to share them with you!
