Received word today that our case was not heard before "summer vacation." There is no need to stalk our email or adhere my phone to my body 24 hrs a day until May 25th when the courts re-open. I want to stomp my feet and pout, but what good would that do?? None. None at all. God has a plan. I'm sure you're tired of hearing me say that, but He does. As he formed Vee's precious mocha colored body, He had a plan. We're just simply honored to be a part it.
I CANNOT stop singing this song we heard on Sunday. In the midst of dust, messes, and disappointments, He makes beautiful things.

Really, I don't even know what to say. Having the patience that you all have already demonstrated is so far beyond anything I've ever had that to imagine you having to wait even more is unimaginable. No doubt, however, God is working here, and there is a darn good reason for all this. Maybe they just need some time to throw Vee a farewell party! :-)

I waited through the May vacation too! I think Amy, Jennifer and I e-mailed each other rants and raves most of that summer. Sometimes it helps to be real about your feelings of disappointment. You know God has a plan and in no time you will be bound for India. Hugs to you this evening!
Good thing Someone knows what's going on - when we all look back on these days, it will make beautiful sense. Ready for that day :)

My heart breaks for you Stums. I agree with Tracy, you have such a wonderful perspective on this. We will be praying for a speedy court date after the courts reopen. We can't wait to see Vee in your arms. We'll be lifting your sweet Vee up in our prayer while he waits for his mama and daddy to come bring him home. Love to you all.
