Lasts

I think the boys are tired of Jake and I announcing the "lasts" of "just the four of us" moments this week, but it is all happening at break neck speed. Now I'm sitting at my computer in pj's for the "last" time before I can almost bet you a new little jet-lagged pal will be in my lap to help me. I'm unsure what to say really, but I think I'm supposed to say something, right?

I think I'll censor myself and just say that we are feeling nervous, excited, nervous, emotional, nervous, honored, nervous, tired, and a little bit nervous. This is one GIANT trip with too many unknowns to count. Did I mention we are nervous?

Tomorrow we drive to Atlanta to get Dosen settled in with my parents. He has a little something from us to open each day we are away, and Papa and Honey are totally up for the task of keeping our brave man occupied.

Our first flight leaves Wednesday at 3:20pm, and the adventure begins. Ready or not, sweet Vee. We are coming. Thank you for continuing to pray for the passport, travel, adjustment, and good health. We will do our best to update this blog as often as possible--Lord willing and wi-fi cooperating.

Much love from Jake, Merica, Luke, and Dosen.

Go Get that precious guy!! We wish we could be in the carry on luggage on this amazing trip--but know we will be praying you along. You remind me of another courageous and lovesick child of God who wrote,
"Here I am, Lord, send me. I delight to do your will."
Blessings, Blessings precious Stum family. May your cup overflow this trip.
Love, Gillian

God bless your travels and keep you all safe. Even when you are completely overwhelmed--He will be there.

Praying for nothing to impede your mission, and a quick adjustment for Vee. Can't wait to hear that he's finally with his long-sought family!
